Vice Captain for Sport5 — Privacy

The extension runs only on Sport5's fantasy pages (dreamteam.sport5.co.il, fantasyleague.sport5.co.il) and on Fantasy Premier League (fantasy.premierleague.com). It reads the player names and kits already shown on the page, locally, to recognise each player, and downloads public data (teams, fixtures, difficulty ratings, prices, player photos, player status such as lineups, injuries, bans and set-piece takers, and player ownership percentages) from vice-captain.com. Photos may also load from images.fotmob.com and resources.premierleague.com, and team crests from sport5.co.il. On a league table page it sends that league's number, taken from the page address — and on Sport5 also the ids of the teams in the table (the first 200; the same public ids Sport5 shows in its own links) — to vice-captain.com to fetch the same league data our My Leagues tool shows. That list is not stored, and nothing else from the page is sent. It never reads your FPL team, entry or account.

If you are signed in to Vice Captain, your browser sends your vice-captain.com session cookie with that request so subscriber features can be unlocked. Browsers that do not send that cookie with an extension's requests (such as Safari) get a connection key instead: while you browse vice-captain.com signed in, the extension asks vice-captain.com itself for a key of its own for your account and sends it in place of the cookie. The key is used only for the extension's data and ends when you sign out of the site or out of all devices. No Sport5 account data, team or browsing history is sent. Settings and your own difficulty ratings stay in chrome.storage.local and are not synced. There is no analytics, advertising or remote code, and data is never sold or used for anything but the extension's features, per the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy (including Limited Use).
